XXX scientific international conference of young orientalists took place at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences in 14-16 July.
From the 14th till the 16th of July, 2009, the 30th international conference took place at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
The conference discussed a series of problems concerning the history, politics, international relationships and culture of the people of the Near, Middle and Far East and Caucasus; it was also discuss modern problems concerning the Genocide and the Islamic Studies today.
The scientific assembly has a special importance because of the fact that many young orientalists who come from the Republic of Armenia and foreign countries participated in it.
