Agreement of cooperetion between the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the Korneli Kekelidze Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts
On June 24, 2021, an agreement of cooperation was signed between the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the Korneli Kekelidze Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts.
The agreement was signed by the Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Robert Ghazaryan, and the Director of the Korneli Kekelidze Georgian National Centre of Manuscripts, Doctor of Historical Sciences Zaal Abashidze.
Taking into account the close ties between the two countries in the scientific and cultural fields, as well as in the field of manuscripts study, the agreement aims to promote and develop effective cooperation between these scientific and educational institutions by exchanging professional experience and information in the fields of history, philology, and oriental studies, by organization and participation in scholarly meetings, conferences, and by collaboration in the fields of archeology, bibliography, and digital humanities.
