Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite all those who are interested in the issues of history of the Caucasus to Yerevan for the
International Scientific Conference
The Caucasus on the Crossroads of International Trade and Cultural Exchanges
(from ancient times to the modern period)
which will be held on September 5-6, 2022.
The conference is interdisciplinary and covers the period from antiquity to the modern times. Its aim is to present the latest research results on the issues of the history, archaeology and culture of the Caucasian region and to create conditions for discussion and exchange of views among international researchers.
We invite to participate in the conference academics, specialists and researchers who undertake scientific activities on the history of the Caucasus in various scientific fields from Armenia, Georgia and other countries.
Working languages of the conference are Armenian and English. The papers of the conference will be published.

The conference organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of the Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The full texts of the conference papers will be published after the conference. The Conference will be held on September 5-6, 2022. The plenary session will take place at the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. Participants will be given 15 minutes for speech. The Organizing Committee could cover only the accommodation expenses of participants from abroad in Yerevan.
